Yoga Workshop: Foundational Postures
Learn the fundamentals
Friday 10 January 2025, 9:30-10:30am
@Gladstone’s Library, Hawarden
Learn some of the key fundamentals of important yoga postures and how to do them safely, in this fun and useful morning yoga workshop.
A Yoga Workshop is a great way to explore, observe and interact.
A chance to ask questions; learn more and gain a deeper understanding of not only some key yoga postures but your body too.
In this workshop you’ll:
Learn how to safely go into and hold a downward-facing dog
Learn how to safely find the right upward-facing dog, for your body type
Learn other key yoga postures and understand what you’re trying to achieve in each
Have the opportunity to ask questions throughout
Have the opportunity to have your postures checked for safety, taking into account any injuries
Gain a good understanding of what your main focus is for your own personal yoga journey.
This is a perfect introductory session for complete beginners to take time to learn to do some of the key postures, allowing you to gain confidence before attending your first yoga class.
It’s also a great session for regular yogis who want to deepen their understanding and learn to find deeper engagement in the key yoga postures, allowing you to take this knowledge further into other postures.
You can then put all this into practice in the regular, weekly Tuesday morning Gentle Yoga class, also at Gladstone’s Library in Hawarden, North Wales. Just 20 minutes from Chester.
Regular Tuesday Yoga Class - 9:30am
Come give it a go.
This workshop includes a hot drink in the cafe afterwards and the workshop itself is half price to Strength for Life members. Use your usual code.
